What Does a Scooter Headset Do?
A stunt scooter headset is the key component that lets your bars and forks spin freely inside the head tube of your deck - an absolute must for tricks, spins, and smooth steering. A standard threadless headset includes five main parts: two 1 ⅛” bearings, a compression ring, a crown race, and a top cap that helps keep dust out and ensures a snug fit between your clamp and bearings.
